Grand prize for the tournament is the "Three Blades" set: a katana,

ceremonial stand.
Scaling prizes will be awarded to all final round players, including
(but not limited to) the following:
| Individual card-based prizes |
| Top 2: |

Foil Celestial Sword (choice of Mantis or Crab) |
| Top 8: |
Promo card playset (three cards) + 20 koku, given out at random |
| Top 16: |
Foil card + 10 koku, given out at random |
| Top of faction: |
Faction-appropriate foil card or cards |
All players will get some prizes, including promo cards and sealed product.
Several players will receive "Season Of" boxes. Prizes will be given away at
random between rounds, and certain "judges' choice" prizes will be given away
later in the day.
More prizes will be announced as the tournament date approaches, and is likely
to include several boxes of sealed product, distributed across the attendees.
The Rare Pool
A tradition of the Evanston tournaments is the "rare pool" -- we ask that
all attendees put one Gold-bugged rare or promo card into the pool, and at
the end of the tournament, all players will select one card from the pool to
take home. The Rare Pool works as follows: all participants receive one
draw. The lowest-ranking finisher draws first, continuing in reverse order,
with the highest-ranking finisher drawing last. This gives an incentive to
finish out the tournament, and makes sure the last-place folks don't go home
empty-handed. Participation is voluntary, but encouraged.
Bounties
Any and all players are encouraged to submit bounties by e-mailing them
(including information on how to collect the bounty) to
docangst@freeshell.org.

Naga Bounty
Provided by Ashtalet (Jacob Lesgold)
|
The highest-placing player with at least one Naga card in your deck will
receive:
- The Ancient Spear of the Naga
- Shasyahkar Experienced, the only Gold-legal rare Naga
- Chrysanthemum Festival (if there's more provinces, more
Naga will be needed to attack them :-)
And, an appropriate Personality for the Faction that you are playing:
| Crab: |
Hida Reiha Experienced or Hida Rohiteki Experienced |
| Crane: |
Doji Akiko, Doji Kazo or Daidoji Rekai Experienced 2 |
| Dragon: |
Tamori Shaitung Experienced, Hoshi Eisai Experienced, or
Togashi Hoshi Experienced 2 |
| Lion: |
Kitsu Dejiko Experienced, Matsu Hataki Experienced, or
Matsu Ketsui |
| Mantis: |
Moshi Jukio or Yoritomo Kumiko |
| Phoenix: |
Asako Bairei, Asako Misao Experienced, or Shiba Aikune Experienced |
| Ratling: |
I disapprove of the Ratling Faction being in Gold instead
of Naga. That, and I don't have any spare rare Ratlings. Should
the winner of this prize be a Ratling, they will instead receive
a shiny-shiny foil New Emerald Champion or City of Night. |
| Scorpion: |
Bayushi Norachai Experienced or Yogo Tjeki non-Experienced |
| Shadowlands: |
In order to claim a personality for a Shadowlands deck, you
must bring a Naga card you own into play on your side (call a
judge to witness). Should you do this, the choices are Osoreru
no Oni Experienced, Yokubo, or Thuk-Kigi Experienced. |
| Unicorn: |
Moto Chagatai Experienced, Utaku Xieng Chi Experienced,
Unicorn Marketeer, or Shinjo House Guard |
If you are eligible to claim this prize, show a Naga from your deck to
Jacob Lesgold at the administration table (preferably when you sign-in).
Yes, Akasha is a Naga.
